At Berryfield Fruits Shop, we nurture our plants with care before shipping and want you to be completely satisfied with your gardening purchases. If for any reason you’re not happy with your order, we’re here to help with our simple returns process.

Our Return Policy

We accept returns of most plants and gardening products within 15 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be in its original condition (with roots protected and moist)
  • All plant tags and original packaging must be included
  • A copy of your order confirmation or proof of purchase is required

Non-Returnable Items

Due to their perishable nature, we cannot accept returns for:

  • Andean Tubers (once removed from their protective packaging)
  • Bare-root plants that have been planted
  • Custom espalier trees (grown to specific customer specifications)
  • Any plants showing signs of disease or pest infestation

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

Follow these simple steps to return your plants:

  1. Contact us within 15 days of receiving your order at [email protected] with your return request
  2. Package carefully – Reuse the original packaging when possible, ensuring roots are protected and moist
  3. Ship back – We’ll provide return shipping instructions. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error
  4. Wait for inspection – Once received, we’ll inspect the plants and process your refund or exchange

Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll send you an email notification. Your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days and applied to your original payment method:

  • Credit card payments: Refunds appear in 3-10 business days depending on your bank
  • PayPal payments: Refunds are typically processed within 24 hours

Note that original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Exchanges

For exchanges of the same value, we’ll ship your new plants once we receive the return. If the new items are more expensive, we’ll invoice you for the difference. For lower-value exchanges, we’ll refund the difference.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your plants arrive damaged or you receive incorrect items, please contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the items and packaging. We’ll arrange for replacement plants to be shipped at no additional cost to you.
